Handpainted magnets

After running out of pennies to paint, I moved on to something of similar size. 18mm round magnets. I use nail polish, handcarved stamps, laser printed images and various techniques to create designs.

Plaid magnet. Lacquered layered stripes.

My goal was to create a dimensional plaid effect. I added a layer of stripes each day until I was satisfied with the look. Took about 4 days to complete.
